FOX RAIDER LURES

In the last few weeks I have been testing the final samples of a new range of
Fox Lures which have been kept closely under wraps during the
development stage. They are all made from injection moulded
polycarbonate. The manufacturing process is renowned for its accuracy and
polycarbonate is one of the toughest plastic materials in common use today
making it virtually impenetrable by pikes teeth!

There are 7 types of lures in the range. With the size and running depth
variations, this number becomes 24. Then there are up to 6 colours for each
type, chosen from a total range of 14 colours. This means that you can
expect to see 124 new Fox lures in the shops very soon!

The range I have been using mostly has been the Raiders. They come in 3
types, shallow, deep and extra deep divers running at up to 2, 3 and 4
metres when cast and a little deeper when trolled.  In each type there is an
8, 10 and 12 cm version. They are not simply floating divers though but
suspending divers.  When cranked to their running depth, they will remain
there momentarily and then very slowly start to rise. By careful balancing to
a trace of the optimum weight, they can be fine tuned to remain in the strike
zone for a very long time making them extremely likely targets for predators
that are lethargic or taking time to make their minds up.

Already I have taken large numbers of pike, zander and perch with them and
they are proving to be an ideal choice for most types of venues where the
fish are lying in less than 5 metres of water.

There are several new exciting colours in the range and plenty of scope for
experimentation. I really rate the Raiders as top predator catchers and I
hope you will too!
